Most of TML strain gauges are self-temperature compensated for test specimens with a specific thermal expansion coefficient. The F, UF, CF and WF gauge series are color coded as indicated below. The suffix -11, -17 or -23 of type name indicates the thermal expansion coefficient of objective specimen material.
