FCT Series Strain Gauges for Transducers
Enhanced creep compensation enables the simultaneous achievement of faster development and higher accuracy in high-precision transducers
We have subdivided the creep code, enabling precise creep compensation tailored to the creep characteristics and operating conditions of each customer’s material.
A new FCT-2-350 strain gauge, designed for transducers, has been added to our lineup. Its sensing element is oriented at a 45°angle to measure shear strain.
This half-bridge configuration features gauge leads arranged in the same direction, improving wiring efficiency.
These advancements make it possible to manufacture highly accurate transducers—whose measurements remain stable over time—at a reduced cost.
In the past, when precise creep compensation could not be achieved, it was necessary to redesign the elastic body and repeat creep tests until accurate compensation was obtained.
With our new strain gauges for transducers, all you need to do is select a gauge with a creep code that matches the material’s creep characteristics and perform a single test.
